The Cardinals lost Sunday's game 20-17 when new kicker Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard field goal attempt that would have sent the game to overtime.
Another week, another team scoring first against the Cardinals. The Eagles finished off an impressive opening drive with a touchdown to go up 7-0 in the first quarter. For the fifth time in five games, the opposing team is the first to score against Arizona. It's also the fourth game in which the opposing team has scored on its opening drive of the game. The exception is Carolina from last week.
Tight end Zach Ertz, a former longtime Philadelphia Eagle, got a loud ovation from the crowd when introduced. There is a good amount of Philly in the seats at State Farm Stadium, mostly behind the visitors bench. Kickoff approaches at State Farm Stadium, but in the meantime enjoy Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt having some fun with the fans above the walkway to the team locker room. Other Cardinals inactives appear below. Rookie Myjai Sanders is active and could make his NFL regular season debut Sunday. J.J. Watt is in, a week after announcing his irregular heartbeat and still playing in last week's game. No kicker Matt Prater, though, out with a hip injury. Matt Ammendola takes over, kicking with his second NFL team this season.
