Residents in High Court victory against council over 'tombstone' skyscraper - but it's still going to be built

“The Court of Appeal saw the merits and awarded a substantial hearing. The judge was excellent and examined the issues but as he kept reminding both sides he examined the facts within the planning prism and must award an extraordinary amount of benevolence to the decision maker. “The draft of the injunction is ready as we now know the substantial interference with the leaseholders and their health is the only way to construct. We now have a case logged with both the Health & Safety Executive on the safe use of cranes and the public being inside a construction site.
