The Manitoba resident was sentenced to six years in prison, but was also credited with one year for pre-trial custody. According to the agreed statement of facts filed in court, Hurren said he wanted to “show Prime Minister Justin Trudeau how angry everyone was about the gun ban and the COVID-19 restrictions.”
