The second Republican presidential debate is less than one week away, and so far, only six candidates are expected to grace the stage in Simi Valley, California, on Wednesday.
The debate is the second of three debates for candidates vying for the Republican nomination, and it will take place at the Ronald Reagan National Library. The first debate had eight candidates, and it took place in Milwaukee on Aug. 23, 2023. The third will take place in November.Who will be on the debate stage
Gov. Doug Burgum and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson have not qualified for the second debate despite being on the stage in Milwaukee. However, they have until Monday to cross the threshold. Former President Donald Trump has qualified for the debate but will not be attending.
