The Pittsburgh Steelers are acquiring quarterback Justin Fields from the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2025 conditional sixth-round draft pick, according to multiple sources.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wilson will begin the 2024 season as Pittsburgh's starter while Fields will serve a backup role. Steelers QB Russell Wilson will start in Pittsburgh and Justin Fields will back him up, a team source told ESPN’sOver 13 games last season with the Bears, the 25-year-old Fields threw for 2,562 yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Fields has spent his entire three-year career in Chicago after the Bears selected him 11th overall out of Ohio State in 2021.
