Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., called for the firing of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, blaming state laws for the crime problem in New York. Tenney criticized the cashless bail system and the lack of tools for police to combat crime, citing a case where an illegal immigrant with ties to gangs was released due to New York City's detainer law and went on to commit a murder in Georgia.
