The most common national origin of refugees that resettle in Texas is Myanmar. More than 17,000 Burmese refugees have arrived over the past 10 years. In fact, Texas is the top resettlement location for Burmese, with the next closest state of Indiana resettling 10,013 Burmese refugees in the same time frame.
