Around 5:15 p.m., RCMP and emergency personnel responded to a crash on Middle Dyke Road involving a Ford F-150 and a Mazda CX. Police said preliminary investigation show the driver of the F-150 was travelling north when it crossed over the centre lane and crash head on with the Mazda CX. The driver and sole occupant of the F-150 was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda CX, a 75-year-old North Kentville woman, was transported to hospital by EHS with minor injuries.
