Would a baseball field be a fitting tribute? The 'Field of Dreams' and 'Goodfellas' actor was an all-seasons athlete at Union High School.

He graduated from Union High School in 1973.The Emmy-winning actor was born in Newark and was adopted when he was 6 months old by Union’s Alfred and Mary Liotta. Liotta’s mother was a township clerk and his father owned an auto parts store and was president of a local Democratic club.
“To me, New Jersey is about family … and Taylor ham,” the actor said at the state hall of fame ceremony in 2017. “Which you can’t find anywhere but here.”
