The Rangers? Yeah, the Rangers have been there, too. Even earlier in this month, though, there seemed to be more fans on hand to cheer for the downtrodden St. Louis Cardinals than for the Rangers. The Astros, however, bring out the passion in Rangers fans.The question is what will they see – at least for those who aren’t stuck behind a wall of people in the standing room area.
Not that the standings reflect lack of momentum. They’ve more than doubled their lead in the AL West. When the Rangers left Houston having won two of three in April, they were 2.5 games up on the Astros. They began June 2.5 games up on the Astros, too. The Astros arrive five games back.
