The Rainbow District School Board has issued an advisory to Sudbury and area parents about professional activity days at schools within the Rainbow jurisdiction.
The first PA day of the new school year was already held on Friday September 1. Several more will be taking place in the coming year, which includes Tuesday September 5, the day after Labour Day. Another PA day is scheduled for September 29. The board advises parents/guardians who have children in Rainbow Schools can learn more about the PA Days on Friday, September 1, 2023 and Tuesday, September 5, 2023 by visiting the Rainbow District School Board website at rainbowschools.ca.September 5, 2023The board said parents need to know that children do not attend school on those days.
“Students are not in school on PA Days, but teachers and support staff are,” said Director of Education Bruce Bourget. Parents/guardians are invited to visit the Board website throughout the school year for updates in advance of each PA Day.
