The Kansas City Chiefs acquired defensive tackle Neil Farrell Jr. for a sixth-round pick on Tuesday.
Farrell joined Las Vegas from LSU last year as a fourth-round selection in the NFL Draft.
In his first season, Farrell played 158 defensive snaps in nine games. He made 12 tackles, recorded one tackle for loss and registered two quarterback hits as a rookie. This offseason, the Raiders signed defensive tackles Adam Butler and John Jenkins and drafted Alabama defensive tackle in the third round.
The Chiefs are dealing with the holdout of All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones, and Kansas City put him on reserve/did not report on Tuesday, when the Chiefs reduced their 90-player preseason roster to the regular-season limit of 53 active players.
