Senior lineman Ali Muhammad died Thursday morning in his home
Rahway charges onto the field prior to start of its game against Somerville in the South Jersey Group 3 playoffs last year in Somerville.Ali Muhammad is not being remembered today as Rahway’s backup center, but rather the scout team’s invaluable starter at that position at every practice.
“He played hard all the time. He was our opponent’s scout team center and just did whatever you asked him to do to make the team better. And he loved being a part of it,” Rahway head coach Brian Russo said.
