Levine ripped for demanding censorship of views disputing ‘positive value of gender-affirming care’ for kids

Conservatives on Twitter blasted a recently surfaced video of the Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretarycalling on Big Tech companies to censor"misinformation" about"gender-affirming care" for kids on the internet. During a May 27 zoom address to the Federation of State Medical Boards in New Orleans, Dr. Levine spoke about the need for the government to"address health misinformation directly" and specified that includes encouraging Big Tech to combat health misinformation"beyond COVID-19."

The doctor said,"So I’d like to just talk briefly about another area of substantial misinformation that is directly impacting health equity in our nation, and that is the health equity of sexual and gender minorities. There is substantial misinformation aboutLevine then claimed that the country is"facing an onslaught of anti-LGBTQI+ actions at the state levels across the United States," adding,"They are dangerous to the public health.
