Directed by Nate Dushku and written by Amnon Lourie, who both produced the film alongside executive producer Crissy Brookshire, Birder explores the lines of consent in a dom/sub space.
Filmed over the course of 12 days on a SAG-AFTRA-approved low budget, Birder explores dark spaces in queer culture and shines a light on nuances that much of society refuses to acknowledge. In a statement about the film, director Nate Dushku explained his vision:
