'It just hurts, you feel angry.' ZinniaDee_TV spoke with a Queens homeowner whose Pride flag was stolen, and he says this isn't the first time it was vandalized.

- The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating after a Pride flag was torn down outside a home in Queens.

The incident was caught on camera shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near 190th Street and 75th Avenue in Fresh Meadows.CBS2's Zinnia Maldonado spoke with the homeowners, who said they are upset but not surprised, as this is the third time the Pride flag has been vandalized. They said people have stomped on the flag in the past, but this is the first time it was stolen.

"It just hurts. You feel angry that something like this can happen," one of the homeowners, named Rich, told Maldonado."[It's] people who live in the neighborhood that are doing this. Somebody knows who they are, and they need to know that they can't keep doing this."Neighbors said hate is not welcome in their community and it sends the wrong message."It's sad, that's all I have to say," another woman named Rita Merlis added.
