In Quebec, 52 per cent hold unfavourable views of Islam, 37 per cent feel that way about Christianity and 32 per cent about Judaism

Eighty two per cent of Quebecers are fine with a crucifix, compared to 99 per cent of the rest of the country; just 68 per cent of Quebecers, though, are OK with the turban, compared to 87 per cent of the rest of the country.Article content Quebecers are also the most likely to be skeptical of religious institutions in their communities. Just 53 per cent would be comfortable with a mosque in their neighbourhood, 10 points lower than the next lowest province ; as for the rest of Canadians, 67 per cent would be fine with it. Quebecers are also skeptical of Sikh gurdwaras, with 54 per cent saying they’re comfortable with the places of worship, compared to 74 per cent of the rest of the country.
