A 19-year-old from Quebec who was wanted by Durham police on auto theft-related charges has been arrested thanks to Halton police.
Halton police started investigating after a pickup truck was stolen in Georgetown and they learned the three suspects were staying at an Airbnb in Milton and using a rented car to steal vehicles in the area.When the trio were arrested, police seized a loaded handgun, a large machete-style knife and tools used in the commission of reprogramming-style vehicle thefts.
The names of the group are not being released because of the ages of the suspects at the previous offences were committed.Ctrl+Enter
