The City of Greater Sudbury is proposing several potential changes to winter sidewalk maintenance, and is seeking the public’s feedback on options
With several potential changes proposed for winter sidewalk maintenance, the city is seeking the public’s feedback on options.
Based on feedback gathered from the community in 2021, the city has drafted five winter sidewalk maintenance options they’re asking residents to rank in order of preference: A summary of the feedback along with the preferred options, associated financial impacts and recommendations will be presented to the operations committee of council by June.
Using this feedback, the city will prepare any required business cases for consideration as part of 2024 budget talks. For a complete description of options and to provide your feedback, visit overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca.
