“My 3-year-old Son has me sing, ‘The River’ every night when I put him to bed. If you could play that for him it would mean the world!” one commenter wrote. Other fans asked for more duets with Yearwood. “Please please please play Whiskey to Wine,” someone asked. “You two do the best duets and you can’t get more country than this song ♥️.”
“‘What a Wonderful World’ Louis Armstrong is such a positive song,” another added. “And a reminder of the good in the world, and you’d perform it beautifully.” Other commenters thanked him for sharing inspiring music when it’s needed most. “Thank you Garth for taking our minds off of things and for bringing people together through music,” one said. In his video, Brooks replied: “I needed it too. I gotta tell you, I just love music.”
