Residents have until the end of month to register to present to the province’s finance committee
The provincial government’s Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services will be holding a public consultation session in Prince George regarding the province’s 2024 budget.
Other in-person consultation sessions will be held in Dawson Creek and Kitimat, and across the province. The sessions have not been scheduled yet, but are anticipated to take place in late May and June, and will include a mix of in-person and virtual meetings. Residents and local organizations who want to participate in the in-person sessions have until March 30 at 2 p.m. to register online.
British Columbians will also have a chance to provide written input to the committee, beginning in late May. More information about the province’s 2024 budge process can be found on the committee’s website.
