New funding for Quinte region's homeless

MPP Ric Bresee and MPP Todd Smith with many of the Quinte Region's social support workers, after announcing millions of dollars in new funding for their various homelessness support programs.During a presentation today, MPPs Todd Smith and Ric Bresee announced the increase in provincial funding for local homelessness support groups.

“This announcement builds on several provincial initiatives that are working to address the trend in our communities. We’ve committed $3.8 billion in the roadmap to wellness,” said Smith.
