The government is seeking a 33-year sentence for Tarrio -- nearly twice the length of the longest prison term so far.

Tarrio had already been arrested and ordered to leave Washington by the time Proud Boys members joined thousands of Trump supporters in storming the Capitol as lawmakers met to certify2020 electoral victory.
