Volunteers shared videos with PennLive showing him doing tricks in the yard and licking their face. They say they understand Pursuit needs special attention, but they believe he could turnaround any issues once out of the shelter. “That’s one of the things that made it get so bad. They had been pent up for so long that they were getting rowdy, then when you finally got them out you couldn’t walk them long enough to get out some of that energy,” she said.about Pursuit’s death date, Pursuit had been on the main floor with all the other adoptable dogs, and volunteers were told they could continue to interact with him and walk him until his planned death on Monday.
Shelter officials cited his “unpredictability” and “multiple incidents” in an email to staff members and volunteers sent last Wednesday.
