'Protection can fade over time'
vaccine can fade over time and that is why it is essential for those who are most vulnerable to receive their spring booster.and the booster is an important step in our efforts to combat the virus and I would encourage those eligible to get vaccinated.
“The vaccine offers the best possible protection against serious illness and while some people may still catch the virus despite having the vaccine, any illness should be less severe. “We would encourage all members of the public to continue following good practices including wearing a mask if you are feeling unwell or are in a hospital setting and regularly washing your hands.”
If your appointment is not suitable for you, you should reschedule by contacting the National Vaccination Helpline on 0800 030 8013 or via the online booking portal.
