A Chicago man was arrested and charged in a fatal shooting that took place outside of Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn early Saturday, according to Oak Lawn police.
A Cook County judge Sunday afternoon denied bail to a 36-year-old car club member who prosecutors claimed fatally shot a fellow club member outside a suburban hospital, where a third member of the group was brought due to an unrelated shooting.

He allegedly tossed a loaded .38-caliber revolver under a parked car and later tested positive for gunshot residue, prosecutors told a judge during a bail hearing broadcast on YouTube. The men allegedly began quarreling on the west side of the hospital on West 95th Street and Rose allegedly shoved the victim. The victim struck Rose, knocking him to the ground, assistant state’s attorney Leonore Carlson told the court.
