Plans for nearly 100 flats on the site of a factory in Watford are being recommended for approval.
Three blocks totalling 94 flats are proposed to be created at the Fleet Laboratories site in Rickmansworth Road, with two commercial buildings demolished.
The new buildings would be five storeys and accompanied by a community garden, play area, 46 car parking spaces, and 159 cycle spaces.Applicant Dendron Properties is proposing 35 of the homes as one-beds, with 45 two-beds and 14 three-beds. Seven homes will be designated as affordable. Although this falls below council housing policy, the homes will be three-beds for social rent, which the council says there is “greatest need” for.
