The Prince and Princess of Wales flew to Boston for the Earthshot Prize awards, the first trip to the United States for the Royal couple since 2014.The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, attended Wednesday night’s NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat in Boston. The team confirmed the royal visit to TD Garden in a pregame email sent to reporters.
William and Kate are visiting the United States for the first time in eight years. The British royals are in Boston to attend the Earthshot Prize on Friday night, an international contest centered around environmentalism. William and Kate will also reportedly visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Harvard University, and other institutions around the hub. The couple teased their arrival prior to the game.
