Prince Harry and Meghan Markle let royal fans in on how their magical proposal went down back in 2017.
“I wanted to do it earlier,” Harry, 38, explained in the series’ second episode, released on Thursday. “I had to ask permission from my grandmother, I couldn’t do it outside the UK.” Photos that were never seen before of the royal couple are shared, as the two capture a moment together on the day Prince Harry proposed to Meghan in 2017.“She was like, ‘You never drink Champagne, what’s the occasion?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, I just had it like, lying around,'” he quipped, before revealing that Markle’s beagle, Guy, was there after being flown in from the US.
