The Duke of Sussex founded the event in 2014 as a way to showcase and celebrate the veterans, as well as help them heal through the link between sports and mental health. “Invictus” translates to “unconquered.”
In the just-dropped trailer, Harry speaks to the athletes: “It is here at the Invictus Games that you realize: Whatever you carry, it is the springboard to the next level.”will tell several athletes’ stories about their path to the Games, and share their inspiring backgrounds. Viewers will also get a look at the work that goes into producing the international event.
A statement from Harry, who serves as an executive producer on the series, reads, “Our Invictus Games community represents some of the bravest and most dedicated individuals from 23 nations across the globe.is the incredible story of competitors brought together through service, who are now united through sport.
