More than 220 B.C. musicians and music companies were supported through recent grants
Prince George musicians and organizations are some of the recipients of recent Amplify BC program grants.
Local singer-songwriter Danny Bell and His Disappointments, received $14,625.00 under the career development program and the Prince George Folkfest Society received $20,000 under the live music presentation program for Coldsnap. "We are proud to be the third largest music hub in Canada. Our music sector promotes and showcases B.C. culture on the global stage," said Lana Popham, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport.
