A Preston woman is celebrating her retirement through a 7,500 miles walk around Britain’s eye-watering coastline to raise money for the Anthony Nolan charity.The charity saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder by matching individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant.
Stella Parke set foot on Saturday 4 March, to mark a new beginning for her fundraiser ‘Blackpool2Blackpool’ over the course of 18 months.The 66-year-old is shedding light on the ‘amazing work’ the Anthony Nolan charity do and how they helped her son survive leukaemia twice. Stella has set up a Just Giving and Facebook page for people to discover her means of adventure and donate towards the blood cancer charity.To make a donation visit the
