The Powerball jackpot for tonight was initially estimated to be $483 million, but was increased on Friday to $500 million due to brisk ticket sales, lottery officials said.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 2, 6, 9, 33 and 39. The Powerball drawn was 11 with a Power Play of 2X. A total of six jackpot winning tickets were sold in 2021 including two to New Jersey winners in January.
