He made an application to the CleanBC program, which is administered by B.C. Hydro and FortisBC, after the fact and was told it wouldn’t qualify, with the insulation work in particular falling outside the rebate because he didn’t use a contractor registered with the Home Performance Contractor Network.Article content
Shortly after, Demers received an update that he would receive a number of rebates, including $1,200 for the insulation work that had specifically been denied.
