Columbus police have closed both exit ramps from Interstate 70 to Interstate 71 north near Downtown after an off-duty police officer had a window of his personal vehicle shot out.

The officer's vehicle was reportedly hit by a black SUV with tinted windows before the shots were fired, damaging a window on the vehicle.Police have closed both ramps from I-70 to I-71 north closed, as well as I-71 north through the Broad Street, Interstate 670 and Main Street exits.
