A controversial post from the Portage County Sheriff’s Office has residents talking.
PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio -
The post was made from the Facebook page of Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski, who is running for re-election on the November 2024 ballot. Zuchowski told followers to send him the addresses of Portage County residents with Harris-Walz political signs in their yards, saying they would be used to send illegal immigrants in need of housing to.Boomer was told he could come in and speak with the sheriff if he left the camera and microphone outside.County resident Martin Bramlett, who has lived in the county for over 30 years, says the post from the sheriff is unsurprising.
“I’m not a fan of the Portage County Sheriff to begin with. Doesn’t surprise me that it would be something he would say.” Bramlett added, “If he want my address he’s certainly welcome to come over and get it. I certainly won’t be supporting him in November, I can tell you that.
