For anyone who has ever dreamed of owning their own pub🍻
The Viking is on Maryhill Road, not too far away from the train station, and is currently run under management, bringing in around £85k before tax and interest.
The pub is well-loved among locals, regularly showing football matches and is a two bar operation with a lounge extension. Reviews online show a huge appreciation for the food on offer at the bar, with one reviewer saying: "Always enjoyed the Viking. Good food, been going for over 30 years now!"While another said: "Had a family lunch here a couple of weeks ago. We all enjoyed our meals and the girl who served us was attentive & really friendly.
Owners Dundas Heritable have put The Viking up for sale along with other three pubs, which include The Scarecrow, Kilsyth; The Willow, Greenock; The Boarding House, Howwood; and are for sale on an individual, part or group basis. Brian Sheldon Regional Director of Christie & Co comments, “Having assisted Dundas Heritable over the years to assemble their estate, it’s a pleasure to be involved with the disposals. They have put together a group of quality establishments which will be of interest to both individual and group operators. We look forward to hearing from any interested parties.
