A Cleveland man, 28, received two speeding tickets within 30 minutes at the same stretch of freeway by the same officer. Traveling eastbound 11:34 p.m. May 7, radar clocked the subject driving 87 m.p.h. After he was cited and released, the same officer caught him on his return trip in the westbound lane of the freeway driving 97 m.p.h. 12.03 May 8. He will be headed to Chardon Municipal Court.Police are investigating a 7:30 p.m. May 1 theft of unspecified items at Home Depot.
