Police have warned prolific Shropshire criminals: 'We will come for you.'

To find out more about the force's week of action, the Shropshire Star linked up with West Mercia Police in Shrewsbury to attend a series of raids.

A team of seven officers went out to Pool Rise, in Springfield, Shrewsbury, in search of the woman - a prolific thief. Concerned neighbours watched on from their windows as officers knocked the door and searched the grounds of the property. She was nowhere to be seen so evaded arrest... for now. "We might not have found him here, but we've had a positive contact," explained Inspector Musgrove."It will just be a case of we might have to come back for them later or tomorrow."

It was looking like it might be one of those days, but another warrant for a persistent criminal who has been involved in drugs, violence and thefts, yielded success.
