ANCHORAGE, Alaska - At 5:16 a.m. Monday the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash, that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries, called the Anchorage Police Department to turn himself in, according to an
Police contacted the man and impounded the vehicle for evidence. This is an ongoing investigation and no charges have been filed. Shortly before 7:40 p.m. Sunday night, Anchorage police responded to a hit-and-run that left two pedestrians hospitalized.says that it appears that an SUV was driving northbound on Muldoon Road when it hit the two pedestrians that had stepped into the roadway near East 4th Avenue.
“The driver of the SUV initially stopped after the collision but then left without making contact with anyone. The adult female victim suffered life-threatening injuries. The adult male victim is expected to survive his injuries,” police wrote.
