Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service says mother, 26, and children ages 6 and 7 last seen July 29, possibly headed to Sudbury area
The police service in the First Nation on eastern Manitoulin Island is seeking the public's help in locating a mother and her two children.
The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service said in a news release that on July 30 it received a call of a missing person from the Wikwemikong Unceded Territory. "A 26-year-old female resident of Wikwemikong and her two children were last in contact with family on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at approximately 9:30 p.m.," the release states.
Nadine Fox and her children Izaiah and Ava were possibly heading to the Greater Sudbury area, police said. The Wikwemikong Police said anyone with information on the whereabouts of the family or who has been in contact with them, is asked to contact the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service at 705-859-3141 or through the OPP Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
