Police say a total of 28 bullets were fired at the man from two separate caliber semi-automatic guns.

According to police, 35th District officers responded around 1:30 a.m.

According to authorities, additional units responded to the 6000 block of N 5th Street and found a shooting victim inside of a parked car. The driver, a 49-year-old man, was unresponsive and police say he was shot once in the face and several times in the torso.
