York Regional Police are investigating the “suspicious” death of a man found on a trail near Seneca College in the Township of King on Sunday morning, according to a police press release.
A person walking their dog called police at 7:50 a.m. after they found a dead person on a trail northwest of the college’s Magna Hall building, police said.Police said its homicide unit is investigating the “suspicious” circumstances of the death.
The victim’s identity and cause of death is unknown and a post-mortem exam is set to take place in the coming days, police said. Police are asking witnesses, including anyone with dash cam or video footage of the area, to contact them.
