A 14-year-old Edmonds-Woodway High School student was arrested after sending threatening messages and a video to a Meadowdale High School student, the Lynnwood Police Department said.
In a release from the police, the 14-year-old threatened to shoot the Meadowdale student and the teen’s classmates.
In the video, the teen suspect displayed what the victim described as a handgun, the police department said.Investigators later said they believe it was an airsoft gun in the video. The Edmonds-Woodway teen was arrested at his parents’ house and booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center for harassment with threats to kill, according to the police department.
