Most spots don’t see a lot of rain, although raindrops could continue into Saturday morning. Turning cooler and breezy through Sunday.
Coming into today Washington was running more than seven degrees above average month-to-date. That will bump up a bit more once today’s temperatures are added in, but this should be it for at least a handful of days, and historical odds of days this warm are dwindling as we head deeper into the cold season ahead. Temperatures are expected to head below average Saturday as winds gust and will feel much more like fall.
Some breaks in the clouds should persist this evening into the early overnight. A cold front to our west is expected to inch closer near and after midnight, increasing clouds and spawning a chance of showers or even a rumble. Most spots shouldn’t see much rain, but a few downpours are possible. We should stay in the upper 50s and lower 60s for lows most spots.Showers could continue for a time behind the front.
