Team P.E.I.’s ringette squad finished fourth at the Canada Games, losing 5-4 in overtime to Saskatchewan in the bronze medal game Feb. 25 at MacLauchlan Arena. Rylie Bryden scored the winner seven minutes into the extra 13-minute period. “It’s heartbreaking the outcome we had, but just to look around the room and know we all fought every last second for each other is such a great feeling.”— Guardian Sports Head coach Francois Caron said the loss stings because everyone wanted to win so badly.“It’s a combination of tears of pride … but there’s also the tears of disappointment that you were that close to being third in the country.”
