Plano's Davis Library now has a dedicated children's room and new study and meeting places.

The project doubled the size of the children’s space and added a dedicated children’s room. Also included are new study rooms and meeting places for students and the general public.

In addition, Plano’s Parks and Recreation department improved landscaping at the library,replacing dead or diseased trees with Eastern Red Cedar and Arizona Cypress trees.to allow crews to finish the project more quickly and for the safety of patrons and staff, the city said.Davis Library, located at 7501-B Independence Parkway, opened in 1998. The library was named in honor of the city’s first library director Maribelle M. Davis, who worked for the city for over 30 years..
