The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for westbound and eastbound lane restrictions on State Route 80 between mileposts 307 and 317. Paving maintenance work started today and is scheduled through Friday, Sept. 16 and Monday, Sept. 19, through Tuesday, Sept. 20. Work will take place from 6 a.m.until 4 p.m. One lane will remain open at all times. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. Wait times could be up to 15 minutes.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
