At least eight people were found stabbed on the Las Vegas Strip, LVMPD said on Thursday. Two of those people died.
Two people have died and at least six others were injured on Thursday in what Las Vegas police called a series of unprovoked stabbings in the town's popular tourism center.
In a later briefing with reporters, LVMPD raised the death toll to two people and the number of injured to six, three of whom are in critical condition. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second died at University Medical Center.Police said the unidentified suspect had a significant amount of blood on his sleeves at the time of the arrest.
The suspect, whom LaRochelle described as a Hispanic male in his 30s who recently visited town, continued southbound, leaving behind five additional victims at different points. Police mentioned the suspect identified himself verbally, but they were still working to confirm his name.
