San Antonio Spurs fans at a Texas Hill Country H-E-B were stunned to find Victor Wembanyama towering over the aisles.
Customers at a Boerne H-E-B last week were surprised to find a familiar face towering over the aisles as Spurs favorite Victor Wembanyama filled up his cart with groceries. Spotted in a San Antonio Spurs T-shirt, Wembanyama pushed a cart through the produce section at the Fair Oaks H-E-B , according to multiple social media posts. 'That man's got taste,' one Facebook user wrote in response.
He was busy filming content for the grocer, although it won't be one of the store's iconic Spurs commercials, H-E-B confirmed. Wembanyama made his H-E-B commercial debut in a series of advertisements last year, including one where he measured his height against gallons of Creamy Creations ice cream. H-E-B seems to be the hotspot for Spurs sightings, because legend Tony Parker also made an appearance at a Leon Springs location Friday to promote his new Château La Mascaronne wine.
